Ive been dating this guy for a while, about 5 months, we get along great, been thru tough times together, i think we have a great connection, and one day last week while we were talking, a friend of his asked about me when he saw us talking, my guy responded "she is my friend, yes, she is my sweatheart". in others opinion, especially guys out there, does calling me his sweatheart means he is starting to like me for more than dating right now, more than a friend, and wants more? i dont want to jump to conclusions, though, i do feel for him strongly.i dont want to ask him, cause everything is going good and dont want to scare him off. what are your thoughts?

It could mean nothing, I call many of my female friends darling, sweetheart, darling and so on. These are terms of endearment, but they could, on a subliminal level, be trying to tell you something.
